First Rate Cold War Story of RAF Germany

I thoroughly enjoyed this fictional account of the complex events immediately preceding a major air accident in the cramped air space of West Germany. The events ring very true, drawing from the extensive first hand experience of the author. Having been a fighter pilot myself during that period, the book was a really enjoyable dose of nostalgia.

David Gledhill Just Keeps Getting better.

David Gledhill's novella takes the reader inside cockpit, examining just how things can go wrong in the seemingly glamorous world of fast jets. The author's skill lies in appealing both to the avgeek and the casual reader, technically detailed without ever losing the pace or the plot of the story. The conclusion, while inevitable, is no less surprising showing yet again that no single thing goes wrong when disaster strikes. A great read for the new reader or seasoned David Gledhill fan alike.

4 Star. Easy Reading For Gledhill Followers

 Enjoyed the book was disappointed that it ended so suddenly. I would have liked to have read about the post event actions and it's objective view on the event(s). Eagerly await the next novella.
